Shotgun licensing

Dedicated status, explained

If you want dedicated sport-shooter status for your shotgun, here's how it works through CTSASA and how our club helps you meet the requirements.

  1. 1

    Join a CTSASA club

Become a member of Centurion Gun Club. We enrol you with CTSASA, the national clay target association.

  2. 2

    Stay fully paid up

Your club and CTSASA membership must be current.

  3. 3

Shoot 200 competition targets a year

Only competition scores count. Practice scores do not. Our monthly club competitions count towards this.

  4. 4

    Get your scores confirmed

The club confirms your club competition scores on the CTSASA form.

  5. 5

    Request your letters

Ask the club for a membership letter for your licence application.

This is a summary. The rules belong to CTSASA. Read the official CTSASA dedicated membership regulations.
